I am creating a new lab at Purdue University which explores robotics, explainable machine learning, and lifelong learning. I am looking to actively recruit undergraduate, masters, and doctoral students who are interested in working on projects related to: interpretable and robust representation learning, multimodal posthoc explanations for agent policies, transfer learning for reinforcement and continual learning, and belief modeling with applications to interpretable theory of mind and model introspection.
If you are already a student at Purdue please reach out to me by sending an email to joecamp (at) purdue.edu. If you are not currently a student but wish to apply, you must apply to the appropriate Purdue degree program and indicate your interest in working with me. If you feel there is a strong overlap in research interests, you may optionally send me an email indicating what you are interested in and why you may be a good fit.
More details will be available in the near future.
